We recently did a repair on a Maytag front load washer, where the customer reported it was leaking from underneath. This is what we found. It is common for front-load washers to develop a hole in the door seal. We were able to get it repaired with a new one and the customer was happy to be washing laundry again!
This is rare but does happen. The customer explained their clothes were still wet when the wash was done and the basket seemed wobbly. Here is what we found…a broken basket. It had rusted through on the neck. A new basket and it will be good as new!
