We went on a service call last week where the fridge display was not working properly. It was an LG French Door Fridge Model # LFX25975ST/03 and the display panel on the freezer door was not illuminating all the segments of the LED characters. It also was dim and hard to read. This Miele gas dryer stopped heating and was showing a “clean filter” error.

We finished a job today where a Miele Dishwasher was leaking and giving a “Waterproof” error. We found a pinhole in the tub. This is extremely unusual, as the tub is stainless steel. Actually, this “jet plane* noise can happen on top-load machines too. The problem usually is the tub bearing. We recently repaired one for a customer. Here are some photos of the project.
This is the old outer tub with a bad bearing and seal. The seal fails, then water gets in the bearing and damages it.
